Patient care is the responsibility of a multi disciplinary team, which includes Clinical Nurse Managers, a Clinical Nurse Specialist, nursing and medical staff, a physiotherapist and an art therapist.

Referral to the unit is primarily through the Rehabilitation Placement Committee.

Programmes available to the patients include;

  • 2) Aromatherapy / reflexology sessions
  • 3) Weekly outings
  • 4) Physiotherapy sessions

Access for their spiritual needs is through the Chaplaincy Department, which also includes a daily Spiritual Group. There is a monthly Mass on the Unit.
